The studio is located within the community of ‘Yantra’ (4,500 square meter plot area), a project designed and built by Studio Naqshbandi (1995-2008).
The studio respects the existing contours and indigenous trees on the site.
Being situated in the industrial zone of the city, Yantra was started in 1996 as a pilot project integrating small non-polluting workshops with residences/offices, setting an example that “industrial zone” does not necessarily imply cold, gray, flat structures which are dead after 5:00 pm.
